Nothing brings joy like a radio flyer

Last time we saw Charlie he was showing off his stellar wooden Radio Flyer Tiny Trike, and I’m pretty sure he got that little 4 wheeled flyer going speeds even the guinness world records would be proud of. Recently when crawling around in the depths of our attic we found a beautiful mini red Radio Flyer wagon that we decided to share with Charlie on our next photo shoot. We wheeled it into the backyard and watched his eyes grow big with excitement. The next half an hour was spent with his mom and Brett taking turns pulling a laughing Charlie back and forth across the lawn. “More, more” and laughing was all we heard out of him. 2 year old laughing in a red radio flyer wagon 2 year old being pulled in a red radio flyer wagon by his mom fun family portraits in San Diego

7 month old dinosaurs are pretty cute

The anticipation and preparation for Halloween always started months in advance in our family, when my grandmother would come over and ask us what we wanted to dress up as and then proceed to work her magic to make us whatever costume we had managed to dream up. It was a My Little Pony for about 3 years, a ballerina mouse, Queen Elizabeth I, one of the 12 dancing princesses, and my personal favorite Maleficent, amongst many others. The art of costumes has changed over the years but the planning and excitement is still in the air every October. Suze has been planning Aiden’s first Halloween costume from about the moment he came home. She was set on the cutest little pumpkin costume but that was until the plump little green dinosaur costume popped up on the racks. Aiden was quite happy to wear his costume pre-halloween when we saw him and even rocked the hood up for us. So cute!

Expressions of a 6 month old -Mackenzie

It is so much fun to see and document the changes a child goes through in his or her first year of life. We took Mackenzie’s photos at her 1 month mark and were really excited to see how much she had grown by our next session. Let me tell you she is just the cutest little ham infront of the camera. Making faces, smiling at mom constantly, happy to be with her older brother Charlie. Mackenzie was an absolute blast to work with and we can’t wait to see her again in a couple months.

It’s Play Time with Charlie!

Brett and Charlie had a blast running around the yard together. Charlie showed us awesome skills at basket ball with a little help from his dad. We also got a demonstartion of how fast he can race his radio flyer around the pool and last but not leaset he showed us his bubble blowing skills which I myself am very impressed with. Thanks Charlie for showing us such a great time.
