It is so much fun to see and document the changes a child goes through in his or her first year of life. We took Mackenzie’s photos at her 1 month mark and were really excited to see how much she had grown by our next session. Let me tell you she is just the cutest little ham infront of the camera. Making faces, smiling at mom constantly, happy to be with her older brother Charlie. Mackenzie was an absolute blast to work with and we can’t wait to see her again in a couple months.

Kate and Kyo were looking for a unique venue to house their wedding and what better place than the American Institue of Architects in the heart of Portland. Brick building meets industrial interrior, we were in love with their choice of venue. A crafty friend of Kate and Kyo built them a beautiful bamboo alter for the wedding and one day in the future when they move from their amazing loft apartment to a house with a yard the alter will come with them. It even has little fountains that attache to the sides but they chose not to use them for their ceremony.
Kate and Kyo are both chefs so the choice of reception menu was heavily influenced by the food and atmosphere. 23Hoyt won out as the choice for their reception and the whole restaurant was closed for their private event. The food was to die for, the atmosphere was fun and quirky from the antler chandelier to the eclectic art on the walls. We loved every inch of this restaurant.
If your a friend or family member interested in viewing more of Kate and Kyo’s beautiful wedding you can pre-register and we will be releasing the entire event soon.
Natalee and Bobby said their vows at St.Bedes in Pasadena. Then they gathered up their wedding party, hopped on an old red trolley and headed off for their reception at the exquisit Annandale Golf Club. The golf course is an absolutely beautiful spot for a wedding or reception. There was lots of room for everyone to mingle, dance and enjoy themselves and not to mention all the beautiful spots for photos.
We had so much fun last December running around with Natalee and Bobby on Balboa Island shooting engagement photos, that I’d be lying if I said we weren’t really excited for their wedding day. Natalee chose the beautiful Langham Hotel in Pasadena to get ready with her girls and I have to say it was a very relaxing spot for them to start this wonderful day. Bobby and his boys opted to put on their attire at the exclusive Jonathan Club in downtown LA. Both places leant themselves to beautiful photos. If you are a friend or family member interested in viewing more of the wedding, you can register to see the photos HERE. Also keep your eye out for more of their photos on the blog.
