Monthly Archives: January 2010

We LOVE Kimberly McDowell with The Event Essentials, out of Scottsdale Arizona.  They do the most beautiful and creative event design, and they also specialize in invitation design.  We have worked with Kim a number of times and she is so much fun.  Check out the beautiful work they do at www.theeventessentials.com

She also happens to have the 3 most adorable Chihuahuas, Harley, Huston and Hayden.  We had so much fun taking pictures of these little guys.  Each one has such a unique and fun personality.  Harley was Kim’s first Chichi, and he kept giving us what she called “the old man face”.  Not to mention the array of grunting and groaning noises he makes.  He had all of us laughing.  Huston was the second Chichi to enter Kim’s life.  He is an adorable Chihuahua/Yorkie and he is a total attention hog, snuggling up to us the entire shoot.  Hayden is the baby and everybody’s favorite.  He’s the smallest, the most playful, and a thief.  He snatched up the Hide a Squirrel we brought to play with, hid it and then according to Kim brought it out only once we had left.  Now he sleeps with it.  So Cute!

Everybody loves little Hayden!

The most adorable little tuxes that Harley and Huston wore for Kim and Bill’s wedding. We just had to put them back on.

There it is “the old man face”

Logan is such a character.  He decided he wanted to meet the world earlier than most and was born  4 weeks early, with a full head of hair and lots of curiosity.  We were lucky enough to come out and take pictures of this cute little guy at only 10 days old.  Logan made the cutest little grunting noises during our shoot, which had all of us smiling and laughing.   We cant wait to take more pictures of this little guy once he gets a little bit bigger.

Even though it’s now January 2010 we wanted to share the Siegel-Thurston Pups photo shoot.  Maggie, Kita and Piglet were together as a pack this year for the first time and wanted their very own christmas card.  All 3 pups were so good, posing for the camera.  They kept trading places so everyone got a chance to be in the spot light.  We love all of their costumes, but Kita’s elf ears won out as our favorite.  The ears on her elf hat kept flopping over sideways giving the shots of her more personality.   Hope you enjoy their Christmas pictures, the pups certainly did.
